1921 Feb 28 killed in Cork

1921 Feb 28 Died age 20 Son of John Hodnett, of 125, Well Hall Rd., Kent. Alternative Commemoration - buried in Cork Military Cemetery.

Hodnett was shot shot four times as he walked along Douglas Road about 8.30. A soldier was fired at on the cross roads beyond the Workhouse, which fits with Douglas Road. He was talking to a girl and fell wounded. Cork street murders.
