1914 . Enlisted as Private Patrick White, 4th (Extra Reserve) Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers which was stationed in Dublin. A depot/training unit, it moved on mobilisation to Queenstown, going on in October 1914 to Sittingbourne but returned to Ireland at the end of 1915, going to Templemore. Moved in April 1916 to Mullingar.

1916 Oct transferred as 2G/2132 Private Patrick White, to 2nd (Home Service) Garrison Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment in Dublin. Formed at Dublin, March 1916. From regimental number.

1917 July 7 transferred as 275866 Private Patrick White, to the Labour Corps. Served in 361st (Home Service) Employment Company, Irish Command Labour Centre at the Curragh. From regimental number.

1918 361st (Home Service) Employment Company moved to Newtownards

1920 Mar 16. Died of a Cerebral Haemorrhage aged 46 at King George V Hospital
