1901 census with his family at 34, Campbell Street, Dundee son of David and Elizabeth Steel
1921 Jul 28. Accidentally shot in the Curragh Camp Ireland, By Fall of an Officer's Revolver, aged 21 from Dundee. He was in the canteen preparing dinner when he was shot in the stomach by a revolver dropped 50 yards away. Buried Dundee Balgay cemetery.
