1921 Jun 8. Died age 21 . Son of Mr. A. and Mrs. Catherine Minion, of 17, Lyndhurst St., Bolton. The North Lancs soldiers appear to have been escorting a Dr Halgrave from Killarney, where he had been giving evidence in a compensation case, to Tralee. The inquest showed

• The train was ambushed just after Ballybrack station
• The N Lancs soldiers were distributed throughout the train
• There were 2 other soldiers in the compartment with Minion. R Kerfoot and T Bilsborough.
• Minion fell and died immediately
