He was buried at St Mary's C.of E. Graveyard, Bootle. The church was destroyed during World War Two and the graveyard is no longer in use. The World War One graves can no longer be maintained and theses casualties are now commemorated by name on the Screen Wall (North) at Anfield Cemetery.
