1919 Feb 5. 2875B Private Robert Emmett Kinchington, ‘D’ Company, 3rd Battalion Australian Infantry, Australian Imperial Force, died Septic Pneumonia International Hotel, Killarney, County Kerry while on leave 21 Jan 1919 to UK from 1st Australian Divisional Signal Company in France aged 26. 5 other Australian Soldiers who happened to be on leave in Killarney and heard about his death attended the burial. Son of Mrs. Ellen Kinchington, of 40, Junction Rd., Summer Hill, Sydney.
