Died as a result of wounds received at Tulla A member of āDā Company, who was accidentally killed while on a bicycle patrol at Tulla It appears that a routine patrol had been sent out from their base at the Workhouse to round up any suspected rebels or other suspicious characters whom they might come across. However, on returning through Tulla, a nervous sentry at the RIC Barracks assumed that the patrol was a gang of rebels and opened fire, killing Lance-Corporal Hudson.
