1919 Oct 8. Frost’s body was found in a field beside Rathgar Saw Mills, Dublin. The inquest into his death returned a verdict that he had killed himself by poison when the balance of his mind was disturbed. Frost was home on sick leave from the Army and after a telegram from the War Office his wife stated he had become excited and anxious believing he was to be court-martialled although no reason was given as to why he felt this way.
