1921 Feb 28 killed Cork Shot on the street in Cork

1921 Feb 28 Died age 30. An off-duty soldier, Private Wise, was talking to a young woman when two men approached him and shot him at close range. One report says Wise was a native of Cork and was back on holiday. The report below says he was shot in middle of Patrick St, and died in Conkleys Lane, near ruins of Cash's Dept Store, (now Brown Thomas)
