Bollin Tower. Commissioned by architect John Rogers in 1846, Bollin Tower is an exquisite Grade II listed castellated gentleman's residence with a rock faced brown sandstone facade under a Welsh slate roof. This imposing property is steeped in history and mentioned in Pevsners ‘Buildings of England'. An octagonal turret displaying the Stanley Coat of Arms with a higher turret corbelled out from its side provides a striking first impression and offers arguably one of the finest views in Cheshire for those who are brave enough to venture to the top. For those of a less daring disposition, commanding views can be enjoyed from all four of the bedrooms. The property displays a wealth of character features such as wooden mullioned and transomed windows with hood moulds, and internally, Minton tiled flooring, deep skirting's, cornicing and picture rails.
