Pte R4/066621 Robert B Beveridge. RASC Remmts

It would appear that his mother was Mary Daly of Limerick Rd, Naas (from the pension card). She is in 1911 census. She married William "Beveridge" in 1890, who was a sergeant in Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in Naas. He was buried as Robert B Beveridge

Robert appears to have left is parents when only a few years old, and was brought up by the Lennons. Nevertheless his natural Mother, Mary Daly, got his pension.

I can find his sister Kate (given in 1901 census in Sacred Heart Home) birth

And an Ancestry tree gives their first child as William Beveridge, born Aldershot 25 Mar 1890

But Robert is more difficult/impossible as nothing in the GRO gives a birth at the right time

1894 Born - Robert´s death cert, 1901 and 1911 census point to 1894/1895 birth. There is an unnamed child born to the correct couple in 1898, but that seems unlikely to have been Robert

1901 census at Main St , Celbridge. There is a Kate Beverage born 1891 in Sacred Heart Home in Drumcondra. And Robert is in Celbridge with the Lennons. William & their mother Mary, as well as the father William are not to be found.

1911 census. His mother Mary Daly is living at Limerick St, Naas - as on his pension card. I do not know if "Hornidge" is a mistake for Beveridge. If so , then William is the brother born in 1890 in England and Kathleen is "Kate" born 1891

and apparently Robert is a labourer in 1901 census living in Kilmacredock Upper ,Celbridge, Kildare still with the Lennons. He left all his money to Catherine Lennon as his next of kin on Army records
