This soldier died from injuries he received in a motor accident at Killaloe,Co.Limerick.The band of the 2nd R.W.F. played the "Death March" as his remains were removed from the New Barracks to the railway terminus en route to Manchester of which he was a native.He was by occupation a turner and skilled mechanic.
