Essex Regiment dead in War of Independence in Ireland

1st Battalion Essex Regiment was stationed in Cork from January 1919 . In February 1922 they were moved to Carrickfergus, Ulster in accordance with the treaty signed to evacuate the Irish Free State. ( Burrows, The Essex Units in the War 1914 – 1919, 1st Battalion The Essex Regiment.)
