1922 Nov 13. Serving at Farranfore, 1st Southern Division, Kerry Command 13 Nov 1922.

1923 From Mark Hifle. I think this could be Boy W Smith 4/10/1921 missing Tralee : a young William Smith serving in the Irish Army in 1923 from Nottingham, England.

1924 Mar 30. 849205 Private William Smith 2nd Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment . Arrested in Shirebrook

1924 Apr 5. pleaded guilty to been a deserter at Chesterfield. Remanded awaiting Army escort. Private W M Smith, 2nd Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment

1924 Apr 11, Court martialled at Tidworth. Charged with desertion, and loss of equipment. Sentenced to 56 days detention. Had spent 13 days in custody.
