Mrs Woodcock, Col's wife

Mrs Woodcock witnessed the murders at Pembroke St and wrote a book about three weeks after the events. A remarkable work, full of humour and pathos, anger and wonder. My feeling is that it is probably the best piece of contemorary evidence that we will ever have. Where she is biased, she tends to say so. And her recording of the facts stack up throughout.
